BODEGAS OTERO

Bodegas Otero is a centenarian family winery. Founded in 1906 in Valles de Benavente, it was the forerunner of the Prieto Picudo wines production and marketing. The Prieto Picudo variety is indigenous from Valles de Benavente. In Spain it is only cultivated in 3.200 Ha, making Prieto Picudo wines unique in the world with a very limited production. The Prieto Picudo variety is ideal for making aged reds and excellent bright rosés. The quality of Bodegas Otero wines has been acknowledged by the most prestigious prizes and ratings – Gold medals in Le Mondial du Vin de Bruxelles, 90 points Parker, 90 points Peñín, etc.
