The Community of Madrid will fill the Stage in hall 4 with activities during the four days of Salón Gourmets. Tastings, show cookings, and masterclasses featuring the best products made in the region, along with wines bearing the DOP Vinos de Madrid designation.
From the Madrid-Style Tripe Competition organized by ACYRE, the Association of Chefs and Pastry Chefs of Madrid, to the San Isidro doughnuts prepared by ASEMPAS, the Association of Artisan Pastry Entrepreneurs of Madrid, the program also includes a vermouth tasting led by Celeste García de la Banda, meats from the Sierra de Guadarrama PGI with chef Roberto Capone, and a Beluga caviar showcooking by Casa Santoña. In the beverages section, there will be no shortage of DOP Madrid wines, La Cibeles beer, and Chinchón anise from the Chinchón PGI produced by La Alcoholera. Chocolates Maykhel will add a sweet touch with a showcooking and tasting of a creation designed by pastry chef Begoña Gardel. To wrap up, on Thursday the 16th, the 5th Official Tapas and Pinchos Championship of the Community of Madrid, organized by Hostelería de Madrid, will take place.
