Another of the new products that we are presenting at this fair is the salted and dried tuna heart. Another top product designed for haute cuisine that is grated on the plate to provide a delicious umami flavour.


Founded in 1983, Salazones Garre is a family business from the Murcia region that produces artisanal salted fish. It has been awarded the following prizes:

  • 2023 Premio Alimentos de España for Fishing and Aquaculture Production. MAPA, Government of Spain.
  • Third Prize in the SG 36 Innovation Category for Garum sauces.
  • Un Mar de Salazón, Best Blog Award in the Murcia region 2023. La Verdad, Grupo Vocento and ENAE Business School.
