Semi salt-cured Grey Mullet Roe, marinated in soy and wrapped in Nori seaweed

UMI is one of the new products that we will be presenting at this fair, a delicacy from the sea with an exquisite umami that can be served in thin slices as an aperitif with wasabi, as well as in small pieces in salads, tapas, sushi, pasta and rice dishes.

 


Founded in 1983, Salazones Garre is a family business from the Murcia region that produces artisanal salted fish. It has been awarded the following prizes:

  • 2023 Premio Alimentos de España for Fishing and Aquaculture Production. MAPA, Government of Spain.
  • Third Prize in the SG 36 Innovation Category for Garum sauces.
  • Un Mar de Salazón, Best Blog Award in the Murcia region 2023. La Verdad, Grupo Vocento and ENAE Business School.
  • 2019 Artisan Food Award awarded by Artesania de la Región de Murcia.
