La campaña 2020 se caracterizó por un invierno relativamente suave para la región, una primavera muy lluviosa y unos días muy calurosos en la segunda quincena de julio. La alta pluviometría para la región, acompañada de un riesgo muy alto de enfermedad de nivel, especialmente en Rueda, y una vendimia muy temprana, son los grandes marcadores de la añada. En 2020, nos complace celebrar la certificación ecológica completa para todos nuestros vinos de Rueda (Toro está certificado desde 2018). De forma única y excepcional, la vendimia comenzó el mismo día en ambas bodegas (Toro y Rueda), el 3 de septiembre. La vendimia más temprana para nosotros en Toro.

NOTA DE CATA

Una expresión realmente elegante de Toro. Tiene aromas de violeta y de cedro delicado, con un paladar fresco, equilibrado y redondo, con notas ricas y densas de grosella y albaricoque que se deslizan suavemente sobre la lengua. Hay un borde de acidez y un toque final de calidez con un sutil final de roble.

Since then, the combination of French and Castilian winemaking traditions has made him a reference in the production of great Spanish wines. His goal was and is to craft high-end wines in these designated origins with Tinta de Toro and Verdejo varieties, using proprietary vinification techniques.Campo Elíseo is a testament to the fusion of experience and passion, blending the traditions of French winemaking with the unique characteristics of Toro and Rueda. It's a story of enologists driven by their love for the land and a relentless pursuit of excellence, resulting in wines that embody the essence of their origins.
