The uniqueness of Nordic cuisine will be present throughout the day on Tuesday 8 April at Salón Gourmets. From 10:00 to 19:00 hours, a stage will host "the Symphony of the Norwegian Sea" through its gastronomy.
From the cold waters of the Norwegian fjords, the Norwegian Seafood Council, with fishing and aquaculture as pillars, offers products that not only nourish, but also tell a story of respect for nature, respecting marine ecosystems and supporting local communities. Products such as its famous skrei or fresh Arctic cod, a species of cod characterised by its firm texture and exquisite lean meat, or its famous salmon, consumed worldwide thanks to its optimal production conditions. Norway is also the second largest exporter of seafood in the world.
Symphony of the Norwegian Sea will give visitors the opportunity to discover why these products are unique. The variety offered by the Norwegian coastline with warm water from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Ocean, and the clean and frigid Arctic creates the optimal conditions for an incredibly rich marine ecosystem.
During this day Iñigo Pérez (Urrechu), brand ambassador, will hold four showcookings featuring four different marine species from the Norwegian Sea: Salmon, Cod, Skrei, and Shellfish from the Norwegian Sea.
