Orujos Panizo celebrates the final of the 14th edition of the National Cocktail Competition, demonstrating that new flavours and textures can be created with distillates such as orujo liqueur. An exceptional jury selects the most creative and innovative among the proposals of the 10 bartenders and sommeliers who reach the final.
The finalists will have a time limit of 7 minutes to prepare 5 glasses of their cocktail, which must contain a maximum of 6 products including drops, a minimum of 2 distillates and may not contain more than 7 cl. of alcoholic product.
As in previous editions, participants can enter their proposals in three categories: aperitif cocktails, digestives or long drinks. 10 formulas with the highest scores by a jury specialised in mixology and sommeliers will compete in the grand final to be held at the Salón Gourmets on 7 April.
The winner will receive a prize of €2,000, the runner-up €1,000 and the third place winner €500.
