Since 2004 Amefruits has been dedicated to the export and import of garlic, fresh fruits and vegetables. Since it‘s beginning the main goal was the development of commercial relations between Spain and the rest of the world.
Thanks to our commitment to quality standards we have the main food quality certificates such as IFS, GLOBAL GAP or BRC among others.
In addition, we are currently committed to the fresh-cut range and innovation by developing products such as black garlic, fresh peeled garlic, garlic paste or sliced garlic.
Amefruits has more than 500 hectares of garlic plantations located in Andalusia and Castilla La Mancha. After harvesting, we send the garlic to our classification and processing center „El Pedregal“ located between Las Pedroñeras and El Pedernoso (Cuenca).
Subsequently, the garlic is moved to our headquarters in Bigastro (Alicante) where we have modern facilities for sorting, classifying, storaging and packing. In order to prepare the products with optimal values of freshness, we control the logistic chain to assure the quality of our products up to the point of destination.
In order to be able to offer our customers the full range of garlic-related products, we have recently opened new facilities where we make all possible preparations of fresh peeled garlic, garlic paste and frozen garlic.
Amefruits Gourmet‘s black garlic is made with the best purple garlic grown in Las Pedroñeras, Spain. The Black Garlic production process is a 100% natural cooking process in which no additives or chemical compounds are involved.
Due to the natural cooking process, Amefruits Gourmet Black Garlic acquires its peculiar
black colour and creamy texture, allowing it to be spread, while losing the characteristic smell and taste of fresh garlic, as it does not cause bad breath or pirosis. In fact, it acquires fruity touches and different scents such as truffle or licorice.
