The Innovation Area is a large and impressive space dedicated to the novelties of the Salón each year. Every exhibitor is entitled to hand in its new products and so be part of this space where a sample and a descriptive sign is included as well as the exhibitor’s name and the location of its stand within the Salón. Each year, during its 27 editions, more than 1.300 high quality food and beverages are exhibited, turning this space into a reference point on trends and improvement in the sector, not only in terms of product but also regarding presentation, quality or production technology. This is the reason why, since 2011, the Salón Gourmets Awards are chosen among these products: the most Innovative, the Best Presentation and the Most Versatile.
