The Olive Oil Cooperative Company Nuestra Señora de la Consolación S.C.A., was founded in 1961. Our company is located in Doña Mencía, a town in the province of Córdoba and adjacent to the province of Jaén, situated in the heart of the Subbética mountaing range. This area offers a wide range of olive varieties, which are used to produce our well-balanced extra virgin oil. Our extra virgin olive oil is selected from among our top production and it is undergoes strict quality controls by the Regulatory council Baena. PDO (Protected Designation Of Origin). Quality Control and Certification of Origin are the basic foundations of the Protected Designation of Origin. The quality control is performed by the Regulatory Council Baena, PDO Qualification Committee, formed by ten experts, and a Council Delegate who manages the Committee and produces the required report to be submitted to certification by the Council.
