Assembly and disassembly

The assembly timetable will be:

  • 8:30 am to 9:30 pm from Thursday 3 April 2025 to Sunday 6 April 2025.

Exhibitors who have chosen the Free Design Space modality must inform the Organisers of the company that is going to build the Stand before Friday 28 February 2025.

The technical project must be sent to the Organisation on the requested dates for approval before 28 February 2025.

Free design stand

Characteristics of free-design stand construction:

  • The maximum height for stands will be 4m.
  • The aisle sides may not be more than 50% closed.
  • Logos and revolving stands may reach a maximum height of 5m.
  • Peripheral stands may reach a height of 6m. In any case, all designs must be approved by the Organisers.

Obligations and prohibitions for exhibitors contracting free space:

  • Contracting a minimum compulsory power supply (130w/m2): Exhibitors who do not contract a stand or electrical panel with the Organisation are obliged to contract the power supply through the Exhibitor's Area.
  • Under no circumstances will it be permitted to use the adjoining walls of other exhibitors.
  • The back faces of the panels will have a quality finish in accordance with the interior of the stand, according to the criteria of Salón Gourmets, and no logos or lettering may be placed on them.
  • Stands open to two or three streets, and islands, must be set back at least 0.50 m. from the limit of the stand to the aisle if one of the sides is closed.
  • No stand may protrude from the contracted surface area either laterally, vertically or frontally.
  • In accordance with current fire regulations, the materials used in the construction of the stands must be fireproof.
  • For free-design stands, the assembly companies must fill in the occupational risk prevention at: https://www.ifema.es/soporte/formulario-riesgos-laborales-recinto.

The interpretation and application of the regulations for each case is the responsibility of the Organisers, who reserve the right to make exceptions if deemed necessary, based on the general perspective of the event and the visibility of neighboring stands.

Modular stand, official design, and monographic spaces

  • The decoration of modular stands may begin on Sunday 9 April 2025 at 12:00 noon.
  • For the entry of goods, an unloading turn will be established on a first-come, first-served basis and with limited time. Ifema Madrid and the Organisers will indicate the best access and the corresponding door according to the location of the stand.
  • All stands must be finished and set up by 21:30 on Sunday 9 April.
  • It is absolutely forbidden to nail or make any kind of hole in the walls of the modular stand. Exhibitors in breach of this prohibition will be liable for the cost of the damaged panel.
  • It is recommended that all material and merchandise belonging to the exhibitor be removed on Thursday 10 April from 18:00 h onwards. The Organisers will not be responsible for any missing merchandise or material.

Dismantling of stands

The dismantling timetable will be:

  • 8:30 am to 9:30 pm on Friday 11 April 2025 and 8:30 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday 12 April 2025.

The established times are non-extendable.

It is strictly forbidden to start removing goods from the stands before 18:00 h. on Thursday 10 April 2025, when the Salón Gourmets ends.

All stands must be completely dismantled, and the elements and goods removed no later than 14:00 h. on Saturday 12 April 2025, otherwise the Exhibitor will be liable for payment of the rental fee that Ifema Madrid may impose as a surcharge.

Rigging Regulations

This service is not provided by Salón Gourmets, but directly by Ifema.

Ifema Madrid participation regulations (applicable from 1 January 2019):

  • All persons participating in the assembly and dismantling of the fair must wear an approved protective helmet, reflective waistcoat, and safety footwear.
  • Anyone not wearing the equipment described above will not be allowed access to the halls. This applies to fitters, Organisers, exhibitors, suppliers, and anyone who has to pass through, stay or work in the halls during the assembly and dismantling periods.
  • This equipment is the minimum required, which does not exclude the use of other protective equipment depending on the specific tasks to be carried out (painting, welding, etc.).

Rental and cleaning glasses : This service is not provided by Salón Gourmets.
