At Sueños de Alba Ganadera, we operate our own farms located in the provinces of Ávila and Teruel. This direct control allows us to ensure both the quality and the continuous supply of the raw materials required for the production of our fresh and cured products. Our pigs are raised under strict organic standards, fully complying with all current regulatory requirements. The pens are open and spacious, with low stocking density, allowing the animals to move freely, play, and remain stress-free. In this way, we ensure they develop in a natural and healthy environment, respecting their life cycle and guaranteeing their welfare under the best possible conditions.
Animal welfare is a fundamental priority on our farms. We raise Duroc breed pigs, renowned for their quality, and feed them exclusively with organic cereals, legumes, and forage sourced from certified suppliers. This approach not only guarantees healthy and natural nutrition but also reinforces our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Our farming model is prevention-oriented, focusing on practices that eliminate the unnecessary use of antibiotics. This allows us to maintain our animals in optimal health while minimizing environmental impact and promoting responsible production. Furthermore, our farms are part of a fully sustainable agricultural cycle. Through a careful composting process, we produce high-quality compost that is used to enrich and regenerate the soils of other organic farmers. This practice optimizes the use of natural resources, promotes biodiversity, and naturally improves soil fertility. In doing so, we actively contribute to closing the organic agriculture cycle and promote a more resilient and environmentally respectful production model, aligned with the principles of regenerative agriculture.
