The salicornia is one of the great discoveries of what the sea and the marshes offer us. A native and little-known plant, it is extremely resistant, nutritious, palatable (crunchy texture, sea flavor and salinity but hardly providing sodium) and beneficial for health.
Ours is certified organic and grows it in its natural habitat, the marshes of Isla Cristina (Huelva), irrigated with seawater and tended in an artisanal way.
It is sold fresh for gastronomic uses, but also for gardening and water purification (another of the properties of this wonderful plant).We are the greatest experts in Spain in the cultivation and properties of salicornia.
Our plant has already led to several scientific discoveries in universities that have used it for study.
