The event of the Calasparra Rice PDO begins with a welcome by María José Gomariz Pérez and several videos about Calasparra and its 40th anniversary, followed by an address from the president, José Martínez Núñez.
Mayor Teresa García Sánchez will offer a few words before giving way to a showcooking session led by Sergio López Marín, together with chefs Juanjo Bermejo Cantero and Cristofer Corbalán Navarro. The day will conclude with tastings of Calasparra PDO rice and the presentation of a commemorative pouch to attendees.
