Salón Gourmets celebrates the excellence of Navarra's vegetable gardens in its own unique way, bringing together professional chefs and quality products in one place.

The Best Navarra Vegetable Stew Championship: Reyno Gourmet Challenge highlights the vegetable stew from Navarra's vegetable gardens, almost an institution, whose secret lies in the quality of its ingredients. For decades, Navarra has been a benchmark for quality products and has a gastronomic culture deeply rooted in the land. Navarra's vegetable gardens, with their seasonal vegetables, constitute one of the country's most valuable culinary heritages: Tudela artichokes, Navarre asparagus, piquillo peppers, borage, cardoons, among many others, are natural ambassadors of Navarre's identity.

The championship will feature six contestants who will have to prove that they are the best at preparing this dish emblematic of Navarran cuisine, allowing both the execution of the traditional recipe and the creation of innovative versions that reflect its enormous versatility. It will be mandatory to use at least two seasonal vegetables from Navarre, which will be Navarra Asparagus PGI and Tudela Artichoke PGI, as well as Navarra Olive Oil PDO.These products will be provided to contestants by the sponsors. The jury will evaluate aspects such as the texture of the ingredients, cooking times, respect for the product, but also innovation compared to the original recipe.
