Luis Planas Puchades, Spain’s Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, has inaugurated the 39th edition of Salón Gourmets at IFEMA Madrid, in an event attended by numerous authorities and institutional representatives.
Francisco López Canís and Francisco López López-Bago, Honorary President and President & CEO of Grupo Gourmets, respectively, were responsible for welcoming the minister and the attending personalities.
During his speech, Planas congratulated Grupo Gourmets on its 50th anniversary, highlighting the importance of the event: “Its figures are impressive, and it is a serious and well-organized professional trade fair.” He also emphasized the strength of the agri-food sector as one of the key pillars of the Spanish economy.
