Since the 1st Workshop of the Senses in 2000, the aim has been for the non-professional public to learn about the traceability of the food displayed in this space and with this idea the Children's Workshops were born. The Children's workshops, were developed with such objetive aimed at schoolchildren between 7 and 10 years old from the Community of Madrid. Children learn about the product in a closer way, seeing, touching and smelling as well as learning the basic principles of a healthy diet and of course, tasting their work, the funniest part of the workshop.

In this edition, children will learn about food products, their characteristics, categories and production methods at the Tierra de Sabor / Castilla y León Workshop, where they will discover the typical Castilian products found in the Mediterranean diet; the Bread Workshop organised by Horneo Fresh, where they will be shown the different yeasts used in bread-making; the various types of cheese at the Cheese Workshop, led by GourmetQuesos; and, new this year, the Norwegian Salmon Workshop, organised by Seafood from Norway, where they will learn how to make sushi.
