Arañón 2025. Orange wine, Albillo Real, Gredos, granitic soils, high altitude, earthy profile.

  • The wine comes from a vineyard in Villarejo del Valle, located at 800 meters above sea level, on poor granitic soils with minimal topsoil and directly over the bedrock.
  • The parcel is farmed in terraces and surrounded by maritime pine, chestnut and ash trees, along with low scrub of lavender, broom and hawthorn. The Albillo Real vines are six years old.
  • The 2025 vintage was marked by a rainy spring and a relatively cool, dry summer.
  • Harvest took place on August 6th, at dawn, on a biodynamic fruit day, in 17 kg boxes.
  • In the winery, the grapes were foot-trodden and fermented with skins and stems in an open French oak vat, followed by natural settling and bottling.
  • The wine faithfully reflects its terroir, showing an intense golden-yellow color due to skin maceration. On the nose, it displays earthy notes, honey and spices. On the palate, it is mineral and long, with medium persistence and velvety, well-integrated tannins.

Garganta Organista is an author-driven winery located in the Tiétar Valley, in the Sierra de Gredos.

We work mountain vineyards situated between 700 and 1,100 meters above sea level, on granitic soils, mainly planted with Garnacha, producing single-parcel wines. Our approach is based on manual viticulture, low yields, and a strongly agricultural vision of wine. Fermentations are spontaneous, using native yeasts, always seeking balance, precision, and a true expression of place.

Our wines reflect the classic character of Gredos: light in body, tense, aromatic, and subtly saline, with a clear gastronomic focus and good aging potential. Production is very limited and aimed at markets that value origin, authenticity, and terroir.
