Centenarian Estate with 200 hectares certified organic and biodynamic (Demeter).
Tempranillo with 10% of other indigenous grapes.
Fermentation with indigenous yeasts in concrete. 22 months of ageing in oak (barrels of our own in-house cooperage). Final blend in a concrete tank of 7'800 litres with another month of ageing before bottling.

Finca Torremilanos is a centenarian Estate that has been managed since 1975 by the Peñalba López family. Much more than wine to define this family project that has always been pioneering in many different ways in the region. In order to mention a few examples of the innovative spirit that defines us, we could highlight that we are one of the founders of the appellation "D.O. Ribera del Duero", as well as the only winery in Castilla y León within the appellation "D.O. Cava" (we've been producing Cava since 1979). Moreover, we have our in-house cooperage since 1989, as well as our own hotel in the Estate to support sustainable wine tourism; besides, the whole Estate (200 hectares = approx. 494 acres) is certified not only organic, but also biodynamic (Demeter) and more recently we released our first natural wines.
A balance managed thanks to a determined hard work applying biodynamic values in order to express the pure essence of our terroir. The Cycle of Life turned into wine.
