From the four terraces located in the middle section of this estate come the grapes that give life to this wine. Sousón and Caiño, ripened under the sun of Ribeiro and aged for 12 months in oak barrels, fully express their character. Only 600 bottles preserve the essence of this estate, which reflects respect for nature and a deep love for tradition.

D`VAGAR ADEGAS is time, stone and family heritage. D`VAGAR ADEGAS was founded in 2021 in the Avia Valley, in the heart of Ribeiro, as the natural evolution of a story that began decades earlier. In 1970, our grandparents, Antonio Soto and América González, acquired the first vineyard parcels in O Ibedo, one of the most privileged areas of the Avia Valley. There began a constant, quiet work deeply connected to the land. Over time, these parcels shaped our estate, Vasqueira. Vasqueira is composed of traditional granite terraces facing east. The morning light favors balanced ripening and preserves the natural freshness of the grapes. The granitic soil — xábrego and mineral sands — gives tension, identity and character to the vineyard. Here we cultivate exclusively native varieties: Treixadura, Godello, Caíño Blanco, Loureira and Albariño among the whites; Sousón, Brancellao, Caíño, Ferrón, Espadeiro and Merenzao among the reds. Antonio and Alberto García, third generation winegrowers, grew up among these vines. The winery was founded in 2021 as a conscious decision to vinify our own grapes and express the place with precision. The name D`VAGAR means “slowly” in Galician. It reflects a way of understanding our work: the vineyard sets the pace; we respect it. The revival of granite as a winemaking material comes from historical research and technical curiosity, but also from an emotional connection to the landscape. For this reason, D`VAGAR ADEGAS is the first winery in the appellation to reintroduce granite as a winemaking material since ancient times, accompanying the wine from soil to fermentation and aging in granite amphorae extracted from its own vineyards. This is what makes NAPEDRA a wine unique in the world. Our production is limited. We practice sustainable viticulture, minimal intervention and manual work on traditional terraces. D`VAGAR ADEGAS is family heritage, granitic landscape and a commitment to time.
