Docamar produces a Madrid bar-style brava sauce based on its own recipe, inspired by more than 60 years of serving patatas bravas in Madrid. It is an artisanal sauce, vegan and allergen-free, with a balanced, distinctive and highly versatile flavour. Designed for potatoes, tapas and aperitifs, it also works well as a base for snacks, meat, fish and other recipes. Docamar is a traditional Madrid bar-restaurant founded in 1963 and widely known for its famous “patatas bravas.” With more than 60 years of history and three generations leading the business, we produce our own signature brava sauce, an artisanal recipe that is vegan and free from common allergens. Today, Docamar combines the spirit of a classic neighborhood bar with new gastronomic projects, including the production and distribution of our brava sauce and artisan potato chips. Our cuisine is simple, honest and rooted in Madrid’s bar culture.
