Red | D.O. Cigales | Tempranillo · 3% Albillo · 2% Garnacha | 23 months in oak
Sinforiano Crianza is born from century-old vineyards located in Mucientes, rooted in limestone soils that lend finesse and depth. Hand-harvested, it undergoes 23 months of aging in new French and American oak barrels, followed by an additional 3 months of refinement in a 4,700-liter French oak foudre. A long and precise process that provides structure, complexity, and remarkable aging potential.
Deep cherry-red in color with violet highlights, the nose reveals ripe red and black fruit, sweet spices, hints of licorice, and elegantly integrated oak. On the palate, it is powerful and well-balanced, with ripe, silky tannins that envelop the fruit and lead to a long, deep, and harmonious finish.
Bodegas Sinforiano is a family winery founded in 1966 by Sinforiano Vaquero and Daniela Gómez, continuing a long tradition of winegrowers. Sinforiano was also one of the driving forces behind and a founding member of the Cigales D.O. Today, their children — Juan Antonio, Miguel, Pilar and Sergio — the fourth generation of the family, lead the winery with the commitment to preserve and carry the family’s winemaking legacy into the future.
Our vineyards are located in the Pisuerga Valley and on the slopes of the Montes Torozos, at elevations between 750 and 800 metres above sea level. The diversity of soils — clay, limestone, sand and gravel — provides freshness, structure and a strong expression of origin.
Rosé is our hallmark specialty. We see it as a category with its own identity: versatile and with great creative potential, capable of innovation and of competing at the highest level. For this reason, we produce eight different styles, ranging from fresh and vibrant profiles to wines of greater complexity and depth. Our range is completed by white and red wines, as well as a sparkling wine produced using the traditional method, the first of the Cigales D.O.
We craft each of our wines with the aim of authentically expressing the character of the vineyard and our origin.
