In this exclusive tasting for Salón Gourmets, José Moro, founder and president of Cepa 21, invites us to discover the wines that are revolutionizing the Ribera del Duero. The winery, his most personal project, has become a national reference for its ability to combine tradition and innovation.
During the tasting, three 100% Tempranillo single-varietal wines will be presented: Cepa 21 2022, the winery’s flagship, intense and balanced; Malabrigo 2022, elegant, enveloping, and sophisticated; and Horcajo 2020, the most premium red, deep and powerful. Three wines that showcase different expressions of the same philosophy, focused on crafting wines that are more approachable and modern than the classic Ribera del Duero, while preserving the quality, personality, and strength of this privileged terroir.
A project that carries the DNA of its creator and allows us, glass by glass, to experience the history of Bodegas Cepa 21 and the life of José Moro, shaped by years of learning among barrels and vineyards, present in every aroma and detail of the wines.
