La Pasión Red Wine Reserva 2016 – 22 Months in Oak | 100% Tinta de Toro, D.O. Toro, Spain

La Pasión – Abdón Segovia There are vineyards that produce wine, and vineyards that tell stories. La Pasión comes from century-old, pre-phylloxera, free-standing vines, resilient and wise, located at 682?m altitude in D.O. Toro. Sandy and clay soils, minimal production: here, truth is sought, not quantity. Hand-harvested, carefully sorted grapes undergo controlled fermentation, respecting every cluster. Aged 20–22 months in French oak barrels, then resting in bottle. Deep ruby color, aromas of ripe fruit, subtle toast, coffee, and cocoa. On the palate, elegant, noble tannins, silky texture, long and memorable finish. Bottle 75?cl.
Abdon Segovia's Vocarraje winery in Morales de Toro (Zamora, Spain) produces limited-production wines following an artisanal philosophy, respecting the grapes and the natural rhythm of each process. Our wines express the authentic character of the Toro region and reflect an honest, artisanal approach. In addition to our own wines, we develop exclusive private-label wines for restaurants, gourmet shops, and companies seeking a distinctive and personalized reference. We closely oversee each project, from grape selection to bottling, creating bespoke productions with identity, gastronomic coherence, and added value.
