Just like Puerta Alcala Crianza this wine is the projection of the masterpiece reflected on this label. It is a tribute to the genius of an architect, Francisco Sabatini whose print can be discovered in different corners of Madrid city. Consequently, Vinos Jeromín takes over from him but this time it's to express the love for the art of winemaking and the devotion to elegance in a creative way that has been improved over the time.
The grapes of Malvar and Airen varieties used for this young white wine come from vineyards that are over 30 years old and are located in Villarejo de Salvanés. The vines have an average yield below 4.000 Kg/ha.
Vinos Jeromín is a family run winery founded in the year 1956. So, nowadays the third generation of the Martínez family is in charge of both the general and technical management.
Our Technical Department is responsible of over 400 has of vineyards whose owners, in some cases, have been providing the winery with maximum quality grapes for several generations. The vineyards are of an average of over 35 years in the case of the white grapes and of over 25 years in the case of the red grapes.
Our red wines are mainly made of grapes of Tempranillo, Garnacha and Syrah with additions of some noble varieties such as Merlot for example. The main white grape variety we work with is the native Malvar grape variety which is only present in our Denomination of Origin Vinos de Marid.
The IFS certification of our winery is an unquestionable endorsement of the high quality of our wine. Moreover, Vinos Jeromín is FDA registered and is present with some private label wines in the US market among others.
