Very old and selected vines of the Garnacha variety from the area of San Martin de Valdeiglesias and Villamanta with yields inferior to 3 kg per plant, give birth to this elegant and entertaining wine. The wine has been aged in French oak barrels for 6 months.
Vinos Jeromín is a family run winery founded in the year 1956. So, nowadays the third generation of the Martínez family is in charge of both the general and technical management.
Our Technical Department is responsible of over 400 has of vineyards whose owners, in some cases, have been providing the winery with maximum quality grapes for several generations. The vineyards are of an average of over 35 years in the case of the white grapes and of over 25 years in the case of the red grapes.
Our red wines are mainly made of grapes of Tempranillo, Garnacha and Syrah with additions of some noble varieties such as Merlot for example. The main white grape variety we work with is the native Malvar grape variety which is only present in our Denomination of Origin Vinos de Marid.
The IFS certification of our winery is an unquestionable endorsement of the high quality of our wine. Moreover, Vinos Jeromín is FDA registered and is present with some private label wines in the US market among others.
