This organic ratafia liqueur is handcrafted exclusively from plants native to Catalonia's Ponent region, with just the right amount of sweetener (only 140g/litre from rectified concentrated grape must – no refined sugars are used), and passion for the region, quality and fine craftsmanship. It features a smooth, balanced taste that evokes a unique landscape.
The respect for the past is reflected in each stage of the artisanal process used to make NVA. The skilled hands of our expert liqueur masters work carefully to achieve the perfect balance between the past and the future.
Every drop of our organic ratafia is infused with the beauty of the Ponent region. We only use local botanicals that have been carefully selected to capture the authentic essence of our landscape.
In our quest for the perfect experience, we have not used added sugars. We have instead chosen a natural sweetener: 100% concentrated grape must.
NVA has got a Gold Medal for liqueurs at the 2024 International Wine & Spirits Awards, and a gold medal at the 2024 EcoVino for EcoDistilleds.
We are a cooperative that crafts artisanal vermouths and traditional liqueurs. We are based in Arbeca, a village located in the province of Lleida in Catalonia, where we have our own workshop. All our products are crafted by artisans using the best quality materials, including local raw fruits, organic and manually harvested by ourselves.
We were born in 2016 with the aim of promoting a Catalan traditional liqueur: Vi de Nous or walnut wine. Along the years, we have produced new artisanal drinks: the sloe liqueur or patxaran Nyons, the first-ever organic vermouth crafted in Catalonia, Caràcter, and the first-ever organic ratafia without added sugar, NVA.
We are a non-profit local development cooperative with the aim of promoting social transformation. So everything we do, we do it with a focus on our land and its people. And we do it with two clear themes: agroecology and social and solidarity economy, which for us are both related to each other.
