Artisan Thread Cheese from Raw Churra Sheep Milk from Castil And Leon

It is the most traditional semi-cured Artisan Raw Milk Cheese from Oveja Churra in Spain. Its format is due to the fact that the shepherds, when they made their cheeses, pierced them with a stick and hung them from the ceiling, to prevent the animals from eating them. This type of format, as it has a central hole, causes the same maturation in the center as it does on the outside, giving rise to a very personal and characteristic flavor. It is an Artisan product, which is only manufactured in Castilla y León and by artisan companies. Its weight is approximately 600.- Gr. and it is sold by units. It is buttery, with a very intense flavor due to its format, and it ripens in the same way in the center as it does on the outside. Totally natural rind, without pyramycins, or preservatives, or dyes. Simply washed and brushed.

The Artisanal Cheese Factory “Hnos. Paramio” was founded in January 1994
