Food from Segovia, the breakfast of our villages. They started the week with chorizo-filled buns from Panadería Los Mellizos, a fifth-generation bakery. For a sweet touch, they combined the typical "blind" cookies made with egg yolk and the local American buns with specialty coffee from Guadarrama Coffee Roasters, a micro-roastery located at the foot of the Sierra de Guadarrama. We'll finish with a "ponche segoviano," a typical dessert from our province.
