The Women in Gastronomy Association organized an activity within the Salón Gourmets in which it presented the work carried out by MEG (in its Spanish acronym) and through the experiences of the women who form part of this project.
The day began with the presentation of the collective that works for the visibility and equality of women in the gastronomic sector and that holded its first National Congress on 11 and 12 May in Alicante, Gastronomic Capital 2025. Afterwards, the attendees were able to enjoy a tasting of products from the associated companies, ending with a round table discussion on ‘Women in Gastronomy’ in which leading professionals from the sector debated about the challenges, opportunities and advances towards equality.
