Salón Gourmets hosted the “Spanish Brewers Cup by SCA (Speciality Coffee Association)” organized by Neodrinks, a competition designed to showcase the craftsmanship and skill of hand brewing filtered coffee. During two days the contestants have faced two tests:

Compulsory service, in which they had to make three drinks from the same whole bean and its subsequent grinding, provided by the organizers of the competition. In this case, the jury assessed aspects such as aroma, flavor, body, balance and acidity.

Open service, where the contestant's creativity came into play. They had 10 minutes to prepare a drink with their favorite whole bean coffee from the available options. The presentation included elements such as the origin of the bean, the preparation method or tasting notes.
