The most eagerly awaited Gourmet Burger event of the year, Burger Combat 2025, has arrived.

For the fifth consecutive year, six professional chefs from all over Spain competed to be the ‘Best Gourmet Burger Chef in Spain’, based on a recipe with an essential ingredient, the hamburger buns from Lantmännen Unibake, the brand that created and organized the event. None of the selected chefs knew which bun wood have to cook with until the event itself.

For the fifth year, Salon Gourmets is hosting the Burger Combat organised by Lantmännen Unibake, a battle between chefs looking to make their burger the best in Spain. The live competition measures the chefs´creativity in creating their premium burger recipe, as well as the most inventive combinations, presentation, harmony and innovation in the ingredients used. In addition to the bun from the Lantmännen Unibake group, the burger must also contain sauce, meat and other ingredients of their choice. From classic to avant-garde, this competition promises to elevate burgers to gourmet status. 

Participants only had 20 minutes to make four burgers, which were then tasted and judged live by a select professional jury.

We now have the best gourmet burger chef in Spain.
