The cockle is a bivalve mollusc which is extracted from beds of fine sand and from the seabed in rias. It has a characteristic sea flavour and a high nutritional value, with an elevated protein content, minerals such as calcium, iodine, magnesium, and iron, and vitamins A, E, B3 and B9.Nowadays all varieties of cockles that we manufacture are suitable for gluten-free diets.

We always start with live, fresh raw materials, which are processed as quickly as possible upon arrival at our facilities to take advantage of their best qualities of freshness and flavor. At all times, we maintain thorough control over the production of all mollusks. ´We also manufacture other preserves such as Calamari, Welk, Surimi of Elvers, Tuna, Small Sardines...etc.

In our factory at the Sete Pías Industrial Estate in Cambados, we have the latest manufacturing technologies, covering the entire production process, from cooking the seafood to can sealing, sterilization, and packaging.
