After carefully selecting the grapes, first in vineyards and later in warehouse, we create this fine Spanish wine from 100% tempranillo grapes which comes from plants which are from around 125 years old. The vineyards are located on the slope of a 950m high and sunny hill called the Cuberillo.

Vinification Manual harvest starting on October 3rd 2020, with strict selection in vineyards and in winery removing dried out grapes and bunches. Fermentation at a controlled temperature 23º, 24 days of mashing.
Ageing 15 months in French new oak barrels and at least two yeas in bottle.
It has a nice dark granite color and offers very elegant aromas of red fruits and tar. Its texture, creamy and silky, is due to the very fine tannins. It offers a warm aftertaste of very long intensity. In the mouth, extremely complex
Rudeles is a family winery. We own 19 hectares of vineyards planted by our ancestors from hundred-year-old.
Most of our vineyards were planted by our own ancestors, an exceptional circumstance inthe DO Ribera del Duero.
Rudeles vineyards are in Peñalba de San Esteban, at an altitude of over 950m. This easternpart of the DO.
Our vineyards, are situated on the side of a hill which separates us from the main area of the Duero;it is an array of tiny plots of vineyard. Almost all the vines are over one hundred years old, some were planted evenbefore the arrival of Phylloxera.
