Bodegas LAN is linked to Spain's four most historic designations of origin, where it puts into practice its decided commitment to the earth and its maxim that winemaking starts in the vineyard. The winery group is present in more than sixty international markets. Founded in 1942 by Fernando Van Zeller Guedes, Sogrape was created to show the quality of Portuguese wines to the rest of the world. Starting with a sole vineyard in the Douro Valley , it has now become an international company, doing business in more than 120 markets and owning 1.600 hectares of vineyards across Portugal, Spain, Chile, Argentina and New Zealand.
