Red wine vintage of 2019 with an aging of 11 months in French and American oak barrels protected by the I.G.P. “Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla y León".

 

Tasting notes:

View: Cherry red with bluish tones; good depth, bright. 

Nose: Aromas of vanilla, spice, ripe fruit, caramel and hints of eucalyptus on the nose.

Mouth: A strong balance between the wood tannins and the wine can be noticed on the palate. Likewise, the alcohol content, acidity and tannins are in perfect harmony. It is powerful, opening out splendidly in the mouth, and its long-lasting finish stays with you over time.


Our wines are the expression of the unique conditions of this land; 800m of altitude, a pronounced thermal difference due to the continental climate and an extraordinary diversity of soils. This can only be achieved with  own vineyards.150 hectares that allow us to take care of every detail from the beginning, ensuring quality and authenticity in our raw material. We produce wines that express the character of Rueda and the grape varieties we grow.We cultivate our vineyards respecting the environment, limiting production to achieve good aeration and ripeness of the clusters.Being involved in the whole process allows us to offer a guarantee of quality in all our ranges, whether in our most recognized wines such as Castelo de Medina Verdejo as the most exceptional; Castelo de Medina Verdejo Prefiloxérico 2021. The continuous work in the winery has a clear objective: to produce exceptional wines.
