ROSÉ WINE OF THE BOBAL VARIETY

VIÑA VIRGINIA VIRGINIA BOBAL ROSÉ is a rosé wine made with our native variety “la bobal”. Elaborated by bleeding we obtain a rosé with a maximum expression of the bobal grape with subtle aromas of red fruit and very floral. Bobal grapes selected from our own vineyards cultivated in a traditional way in goblet.
Bodega y Viñedos Moratalla is a family winery located in a privileged region for the cultivation of vineyards "La Manchuela Conquense" in the municipality of Villanueva de la Jara (Cuenca). This project was initiated by José Manuel Moratalla (3rd generation of the family at the head of the winery) and his wife Virginia, giving continuity to the work that his grandfather started when he created the family winery in 1950 and that his father Adrián Moratalla continued. Bodega y Viñedos Moratalla is a small winery where craftsmanship is combined with the latest technology to obtain the highest quality of the final product giving unique wines with a strong personality. In Bodega y Viñedos Moratalla the secret of our wines lies in our old vineyards of BOBAL and MACABEO varieties, which are grown in a few hectares of the vineyards of El Buitre, La Casilla de Adrián, Viña Virginia, Los Arenosos, Las Alforjas and La Tasonera. We make wines transmitting the character of the grape and the "terroir" with new techniques while maintaining the essence of craftsmanship in each of the stages of winemaking with an individual personality in each wine made, blending tradition and modernity.
