Bodega Vulcano de Lanzarote , was born in 2009 with the passion and absolute dedication of cultivation and making young wine, which are synonymous of exclusivity as a result of a careful selection and processing. The Vulcano main concept is "Boutique winery", small productions of young wines with great quality, creating the culture of Wines with Soul and Identity.   The vine cultivation in Lanzarote is mainly manual and unique in the world. The grapes are grown in a deep hole in the shape of an inverted cone covered with volcanic sand , which protects the plant from wind and keeps the plant moistened. The main local grape variety used is "volcanic malvasia".   The main characteristic of Vulcano is the elaboration of young wines, in different fermentations during the year. Vulcano has been the pioneer in having its own "must bank". This is possible by keeping the must at low temperatures.
