Description: In Avelino Vegas we have just produced 6,000 bottles of this exceptional rosé wine with fresh and fruity aromas.

Winery & Vineyards: In our winery from D.O. Rueda we also produce Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla yLeón (IGP). It is in this gravelly plateau of the province of León, where our grapesof variety Prieto Picudo are picked up, from vines more than 25 years old and atmore than 800 m. of altitude, with these, we make this fresh and fruity wine.

Elaboration: The small cluster of Prieto Picudo, matures very slow and suffering the extreme climate of the Castilian plateau with cool nights in the summer. This wine is madewith the first must obtained by “sangnier”. After, it is fermented at lowtemperature to pamper those intense and elegant aromas of red fruits thatcharacterise it.

Tasting Note: Pale rosé color with salmon hints, clean and bright. Aromas of good intensity atthe nose with reminiscent of red fruits and citrus. Family winery with tradition since 1950In 2008,  built a magnificent winery in Santiuste de S.J.Bta (Segovia) within the D.O. Rueda, equipped with the most advanced technology to produce quality whites and which controls 600 hectares of old vineyards. CIRCE is its most emblematic wine.In this winery, the NICTE range is also made, with the Prieto Picudo and Viognier varieties. In 1994, Avelino Vegas made the leap to the D.O. Ribera del Duero creating Bodegas Fuentespina. It has 3,800 barrels of the best French and American oak and controls 550 hectares of vines with an average age of 45 years. The quality of the wines from the Avelino Vegas group has been endorsed over the last few years by innumerable competitions and publications, both national and international. Exports to 35 countriesHis latest project is in Peñafiel. A boutique winery in the French Chateau style awarded Best Winery of the Year by the GVG 2020. Only two Avelino Vegas 100 Aniverssary and Avelino Vegas Áureo wines are produced there
