It is a wine made exclusively with Tempranillo grapes from selected vineyards with an average age of 50 years. After an aging of 16 months in new French oak barrels, we get this magnificent wine.

Grapes that exceed the highest quality standards in terms of structure and character are destined for Reserva.

Tasting Note: Cherry colour with garnet rim. Aromas of ripe fruit with roasted touches,chocolate, toasted caramel. Powerful mouth, tasty, fleshy, spicy with ripetannins. Long and persistent finish.

Recomended with: Red meat, lamb and suckling pig, game, elaborated stews and cured cheeses.

Family winery with tradition since 1950In 2008,  built a magnificent winery in Santiuste de S.J.Bta (Segovia) within the D.O. Ribera del Duero creating Bodegas Fuentespina. It has 3,800 barrels of the best French and American oak and controls 550 hectares of vines with an average age of 45 years. The quality of the wines from the Avelino Vegas group has been endorsed over the last few years by innumerable competitions and publications, both national and international. Exports to 35 countriesHis latest project is in Peñafiel. A boutique winery in the French Chateau style awarded Best Winery of the Year by the GVG 2020. Only two Avelino Vegas 100 Aniverssary and Avelino Vegas Áureo wines are produced there
