100% natural product, obtained in a completely traditional way, by flavouring aniseed (matalahúga) in a very slow distillation of high quality molasses alcohol and water from the Subbética region. It is made in centuries-old copper stills with wood-fired ovens. The alcoholate obtained by distillation is graduated to 45% vol. and sugar nº1 is added. It is then filtered up to three times and is ready for bottling. It is a colourless, shows its 45 proof and persistent content of the essential oil of the matalahúga with a characteristic semi-sweet taste. Available in 100 cl. format. It has magnificent appetite-stimulating, digestive and diuretic properties. Due to its high richness in essential oils and alcohol content, it is perfect for making ‘paloma’ in a long glass, mixed with one part in four parts of very cold water.
