Encinasola Organic Oil Mill includes innovation and tradition, technology and respect for the environment in its extra virgin olive oil. Located in the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park, within the Dehesas de Sierra Morena Biosphere Reserve and on the Border between Spain and Portugal, “La Raya”. Encinasola Ecological Mill accepts the challenge of the Natural Park and the Biosphere Reserve: combining environmental conservation and sustainable development through the production of its Oleosierra Organic EVOO, obtained from olive groves native to the earth and milled in state-of-the-art facilities. In 2012, the León Family With their sons Javier and Augusto at the helm, they begin a project to rescue the local olive-growing tradition in Encinasola. Today they have more than 300 families of traditional farmers in the area who provide their olives. The varieties of manzanilla, hojiblanca, picual, galega, arbequina, cobrasosa, cornicabra and carrasqueña, give rise to a unique Natural Coupage. The conditions of this territory of Frontera give nuances and aromas that are fed by the holm oak and cork oak forests of the Natural Park. The organic farming practices of the families allow them to produce an Organic EVOO with very special characteristics.
