Our company, "Aceites el Tilo", was born in the heart of a humble family that has dedicated its entire life to agriculture and olive growing in the Sierra de las Villuercas (Caceres), where there is a great olive-growing tradition. The oils obtained from its olive trees, which belong to the brand new D.O.P. Aceite Villuercas Ibores Jara, transmit all the love for the land cultivated by the Santos family for generations.

Aceites el Tilo is a young and environmentally conscious company as it has solar panels for the irrigation system installed in 7000 olive trees. In addition, El Tilo farm that is located in the Villuercas-Ibores-Jara Geopark, has another 2,000 more unirrigated olive trees. Our ambition and persistence have led us to open markets in Netherlands, France, Switzerland and the USA.

El Tilo's extra virgin olive oils come exclusively from olives of the Cornicabra olive variety, carefully cultivated on our familiar limited production farm. The olives are harvested early at the beginning of November, when they begin to change colour for the later cold extraction of the oil and final storage in our own stainless-steel tank. Our product has been classified in the gourmet category by receiving a diploma from the French Agricultural Products Promotion Agency (AVPA).
