During the intervention, Firo Vázquez will carry out a guided tasting of 2 extra virgin olive oils, in which he will assess their organoleptic attributes. Different utensils and ideas will be shown that give relevance to both EVOO itself and its culture. The public will taste 2 tapas made with the EVOOs that have been tasted and that will allow them to evaluate and show what is explained theoretically in these tasty practical examples.
Cooking with Calasparra
Mr. Sergio López Marín, technician of the Calasparra Rice PDO Council and Mrs. Teresa García Sánchez, Mayor-President of the Ilmo. Calasparra City Council will highlight the benefits of this rice, a cereal of differentiated quality. We will invite the public to visit Calasparra, showing a video of the Gastropaisajes tourism project, which aims to turn this town into a national and international meeting place, using Calasparra Rice as a sign of gastronomic and cultural identity. Also present as a differentiated product will be Cheese with wine, dependent on the Murcia cheese PDO and internationally awarded, which will be used by chef Firo Vázquez.
