Ibéricos Montellano continues to shine with prestigious awards. These awards are given to the commitment, quality and excellence of a family business that has been dedicated to the artisanal production of Iberian hams and sausages for four generations, following the traditional methods inherited from their ancestors. All that experience and dedication has led them to make the best acorn-fed ham. Its location in the province of Salamanca, with ideal climate conditions for curing of its Iberian hams and sausages, it guarantees the extreme quality of all its products.
The entire denomination of our products strictly follows the designations of the Iberian Quality Standard, for Iberian ham, Iberian shoulder and Iberian loin, included in Royal Decree 4/2014 of January 10, including in the scope: loins, shoulders, Iberian and 100% Iberian hams with acorn-fed food quality, cebo de campo, cebo and fresh meat. They are also certified with the "Tierra de Sabor" guarantee mark.
In March 2016 it has obtained the S.A.E. (New Specific Self-Control System) level 3 certification, for export to third countries, in addition to the European Economic Community.
Ibéricos Montellano has great prestige in the Iberian sector: we have the highest score at the ITQ 2021 Awards in Brussels for our 75% Iberian Acorn-Fed Ham and 3 Grate taste 2023 stars for our 50% Iberian acorn-fed ham.
Since the beginning of our activity, we have carefully selected the raw material on the family farm in Salamanca, Extremadura and Andalusia, personally checking the pigs of our trusted breeders, with whom we take the pigs.
