The NGO Gastronomía Solidaria is an initiative directed by Chema de Isidro that was created with the aim of helping young people at risk of exclusion to integrate into our society through gastronomy. Its aim is to provide opportunities through training and, above all, affection, offering insertion or reintegration into the labour market. The students in each class undergo three months of training and two months of work experience in various aspects of the hotel and catering industry and most of them leave with a job. The Salon Gourmets supports this brilliant initiative with a showcooking space where top chefs prepare their dishes in the most fun and dynamic way, supported by the students of Gastronomía Solidaria.
At their stage located in Hall 3 they will be holding masterclasses, show cookings and tastings by chefs and students currently undergoing training as part of the project.
