Orujos Panizo celebrates the final of the 13th edition of the National Cocktail Competition, demonstrating that new flavours and textures can be created with distillates such as orujo liqueur. An exceptional jury selects the most creative and innovative among the proposals of the 10 bartenders and sommeliers who reach the final.

The finalists will have a time limit of 7 minutes to prepare 5 glasses of their cocktail, which must contain a maximum of 6 products including drops, a minimum of 2 distillates and may not contain more than 7 cl. of alcoholic product. The winner will receive a prize of €2,000, the runner-up €1,000 and the third place winner €500.

The registration period will be open until 29 February at www.destileriaspanizo.com with the requirements to take part in the competition, the registration form and the rules of the championship.

A new feature this year is "La Ruta del Cóctel Panizo", a new section on their website that will give visibility to all those establishments (bars, pubs and restaurants) where the bartenders and sommeliers who enter the competition serve cocktails made with their liqueurs.
