At Extrem Puro Extremadura we essentially make 100% Iberian Bellota Ham according to our tradition. An exquisite combination of environment and product is difficult to find elsewhere. The hind legs of the EXTREM PURO EXTREMADURA 100% Iberico acorn-fed pig are an intense red color with a minimum of pearly fat marbling.
Its flavor has an intensity that is difficult to classify, with a herbaceous and fruity bouquet; something outstanding in a world like that of ham, which is increasingly globalized and homogeneous. The presentation of this product is also extremely careful: inside the symbolic EXTREM PURO EXTREMADURA Premium White Box, you will find an embroidered white mesh to protect the ham. Our hams are the hind limbs of our pigs and are characterized and distinguished by a series of parameters that directly influence all our senses. Sight: intense and bright red color, pearly and unctuous fat. Light streaks of infiltrated fat in the lean meat.The touch: silky, soft, and light in contact with fat. The smell: sweet and penetrating, treasures the virginal nuances of the oleic. The taste: the explosion of flavors, velvet in the mouth, infinite aftertaste.
Extrem Puro Extremadura finds its raison d'être in the land that boasts its name: Extremadura, cradle of the Dehesa and the most demanding region with regard to the quality of Iberian products, the only one to carry out controls on all the stages of production of the Iberico -from breeding to aging in cellars-.
