New white mountain chorizo, softer

One of the sausages that best characterizes our company is the chorizo ??known as Geras chorizo.

Now this new type of chorizo ??joins our product portfolio for those who are less accustomed to strong flavors.

In the preparation of our new "white mountain chorizo" the same selected raw materials are used as in traditional chorizo ??but with a milder touch of spices.

It also changes the maturation process, which is carried out through a complex process of temperature changes and with the Penicillium fungus, which gives it special flavors and aromas, very different from our traditional chorizo.

Entrepeñas is a family business dedicated to the artisanal production of sausages for more than 60 years and three generations. We develop our activity in Geras de Gordón, in the northwest of the province of León, at 1,200 meters of altitude in a natural environment declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2005.

Geras de Gordón benefits from a microclimate of frequent frosts during long winters. and dry, which create the ideal conditions for maturing quality sausages.
