100% acorn-fed Iberian prey is possibly the juiciest and most exquisite piece of pork. It corresponds to the meat between the shoulder blades of the Iberian pig, which is why only two pieces are obtained from each animal. This is what gives it its exclusive character. It is seasoned for 48 hours with sweet paprika from La Vera and salt. It is cured for 4-5 months and everyone who tastes it is impressed by its marbled, almost marbled meat, which gives it the incomparable aroma and flavour of acorns. All this is possible thanks to the fact that we have an excellent team of professionals in each of the different areas of activity, and with more than 5,500 hectares to breed pure Iberian trunk pigs and carry out the final fattening period, each autumn-winter , in a montanera regime, that is, based on natural pastures and acorn.The farm is classified GPSE (Farm for Special Sanitary Protection) and has the controls of AECERIBER (Spanish Association of Breeders of Pure Iberian Select Pig Cattle and Iberian Trunk) ASICI (Interprofessional Association of the Iberian Pig) and of the public health organizations of the Junta of Extremadura and the European Union.
